GeoPark Limited reported average consolidated oil and gas production of 27,271 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) in the second quarter of 2026, broadly unchanged from 27,249 boepd in the first quarter, the company said in a press release.

Colombia remained the company's largest producing country, contributing 25,871 boepd, unchanged from the same period a year earlier. Argentina contributed 1,400 gross boepd, compared with no production in the second quarter of 2025. Ecuador and Brazil recorded no production during the quarter, compared with 1,281 boepd and 231 boepd, respectively, in the year-earlier period.

During the second quarter, GeoPark drilled and completed six wells in the Llanos 34 and Llanos 123 blocks in Colombia, and drilled five wells in Vaca Muerta, which were undergoing hydraulic fracturing at the end of the quarter. The company operated a total of eight rigs, including four drilling rigs and four workover rigs.

GeoPark signed a three-year agreement with Helmerich & Payne for the use of a drilling rig to develop its Loma Jarillosa Este and Puesto Silva Oeste blocks in Argentina, with the first drilling campaign scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The company also secured crude processing and export agreements with Pan American Energy S.L., Sucursal Argentina, providing access to the Puerto Rosales and Punta Colorada export terminals through 31 December 2027.

GeoPark and Gas y Petróleo del Neuquén also applied to join Argentina's Large Investment Incentive Regime (RIGI), aiming to increase production from 1,500 boepd to 20,000 boepd over the next three years, supported by planned investments of more than $1 billion.
