YPF purchases Total Austral’s stake in Vaca Muerta for USD 500 million

Argentine state-owned oil company YPF announced that it has agreed to purchase Total Austral's stake in two unconventional blocks located in Vaca Muerta for 500 million dollars.
The acquired blocks, "La Escalonada" and "Rincón La Ceniza," have active unconventional exploitation concessions valid until 2051.
YPF leads activities in the Vaca Muerta unconventional hydrocarbon formation, the second-largest unconventional gas reserve in the world and the fourth-largest oil reserve.
